In the past few weeks, Angel Inez got fired from her job and evicted from her apartment--all for pursuing her biggest dream of becoming a star. But she's no stranger to struggle. While her neighborhood friends fell into bad habits, Angel remained focused on her dreams and spends most of her time performing at talent shows. Naturally a shy person, Angel turns up the energy when she gets up on stage. She has written songs on topics that she is familiar with including poverty, dropping out of high school, abusive relationships, and an imprisoned father. She is ready and willing to refine her voice and performing skills to become the star she feels she's destined to be.
