Jordan Battiste is a member of a tight-knit band and promised never to go solo--but the StarMaker call pushed him to change his mind. As a kid, Jordan found his mentor in a local music producer, leading to his fascination with production and performance. Not confining himself to just one genre, Jordan lists some of his musical heroes as Bjork, Timbaland, Sade and Pharrell. He says he's ready to be a star-- and admits that what scares him most about StarMaker is "being written off as the contestant who didn't win."
